Custard Jelly Tart

Ingredients

For Base:

1 ½ cup maida

6 tbsp butter

¼ tsp salt

60 gms powdered sugar

2 tsp cold water

 

 

For Filling:

1 packet strawberry jelly

1 cup custard (prepared as per instructions)

Black grapes (seedless)

Kiwi (chopped)

2tbsp biscuits powder

Cherries

  

Method:

1.      Mix maida, butter, sugar and salt and rub it till it forms bread like crumbs.

2.      Add water and make firm dough. Keep aside for 20 minutes covered in cloth.

3.      Now roll out a big chapatti from the dough and line it in tart mould.

4.      Bake it for 30 minutes in a preheated oven.

5.      Let it cool. Now pour the custard on it.

6.      Decorate with fruit and jelly.

7.      Keep in refrigerator to chill.

8.      Cut in slices and serve.
