Sweet Potato Balls
Ingredients500gms sweet potato 3-4 tbsp poppy seeds 1 tbsp wheat flour 1-2 tbsp sugar ¼ tsp ground ginger ¼ tsp ground cardamom ¼ tsp Clove (crushed) 2 tbsp melted milk chocolate 1 tbsp vanilla essence Coconut oil, for frying Icing sugar, to garnishMethod:1. Boil sweet potato until soft. 2. Peel and mash the boiled potatoes with a fork. 3. Blend together poppy seeds, flour and sugar into the sweet potato. 4. Add ground ginger, cardamom and cloves. Mix well. 5. Add melted chocolate and vanilla essence. Mix well. 6. Roll this mixture into small balls. 7. Heat coconut oil in a wok and deep fry the balls until golden. 8. Allow to drain on a kitchen paper. 9. Sprinkle icing sugar and serve. |
