Kesari phirni
Ingredients4 tbsp rice (soaked for 20 mins) 1/2 ltr milk 4-5 saffron strands (soaked in water) 2 tbsp dry fruits (chopped) 1 tsp cinnamon powder Sugar, acc to taste Method:1. Add 2tbsp water to rice and grind to a fine paste. 2. Take a thick bottom pan and boil the milk. Let it cook for 5-10 mins. 3. Add rice paste to it. Keep stirring on a low flame. 4. Now add sugar, saffron and cinnamon powder. 5. Take it off the flameand pour in small serving bowls. 6. Garnish with saffron strands and chopped dryfruits. 7. Let it set for 3-4 hours. 8. Serve chilled. |
