Panchmel Dal
Ingredients150 gms urad dal 100 gms moong dhooli 50 gms arhar dal 50 gms chana dal A pinch of hing 1 tsp jeera 1 green chilli 25 gms ginger 1 tsp rai Oil/ Ghee 1 tsp lemon juice Coriander leaves, for garnishing Salt, ass to taste Method:1. Wash all dals and soak them in water for 1 hour. 2. Take some water in a pressure cooker. When the water starts to boil put the dals in. 3. Close the lid and let it cook. After one whistle let the dals cook on low flame for 20 minutes so that the dals are cooked. 4. Take some oil or ghee in a pan and heat it. Add hing, jeera and rai to it. when it starts spluttering add it to the dal. 5. Cook the dal for 5 minutes. 6. While serving add lemon juice and garnish with coriander leaves. |
