Sookhi Amritsari Dal
Ingredients600gms dhooli urad dal 100gms onions (chopped) 100gms tomato (chopped) 2 green chillies (chopped) 50gms ginger garlic paste 6 whole red chillies 5gms turmeric powder 5gms red chilli powder ½ tsp hing powder 1 tsp jeera Salt, to taste 2 tbsp oil Coriander leaves, to garnishMethod:1. Boil water. Add turmeric powder and dal. Let it cook until half done. 2. Heat oil in a pan. Add hing powder and jeera. Then add onion and sauté. 3. Add ginger garlic paste, whole red chilli and tomato. 4. Add red chilli powder, green chilli and salt. Mix well. 5. Add dal and mix well. Cook for 8-10 minutes on medium flame. 6. Serve hot. |
