Bread Idli

Ingredients

arrow6 bread slices.
arrow1 cup hung curd.
arrow250 gms potatoes (boiled).
arrow1 green chilli (chopped)
arrow3/4 tsp red chillie powder.
arrow50 gms butter.
arrowGaram masala, acc to taste.
arrowAmchoor. acc to taste.
arrowSalt, acc to taste.

  

Method:

  1. Cut the bread into round slices.
  2. Mash the potatoes. Add green chillies, coriander leaves, red chilli powder, garam masala, amchoor and salt.
  3. Mix salt and black pepper powder in curd.
  4. Place tikki on one side of the bread and spread curd on the other.
  5. Heat a little butter on a non stick pan. now place the bread side of the tikki on the pan and cover it. Let it cook for 2-3 mins.

Garnish with tomato ketchup, green chutney and plain bhujia. Serve hot.
