Nariyal Tikki

Ingredients

4 potatoes (boiled)

2 tsp cornflour

100 grams fresh coconut (grated)

1 green chilli

1 inch ginger

1 tsp coriander

1/2 tsp  mustard seeds

1/2 tsp jeera

Oil, to fry

Salt, acc to taste

Black pepper powder, acc to taste

  

Method:

1. Heat little oil in a pan. Add jeera, mustard seeds. ginger, green chilli andgrated coconut. Add salt and black pepper and saute.

2. Mash the potatoes. Add cornflour.

3. Take small portion of the potato mixture and make a roll. Flatten it and keep some coconut mixture on it. Roll and again and flatten to make tikkis.

4. Take some oil in a pan and heat it. Shallow fry the tikkis.

5. Serve with mint chutney and tomato sauce.
