Fresh Basil Wrapped Cheese Balls

Ingredients

½ cup cheese cubes (grated) ½ cup parmesan cheese ½ cup cottage cheese Pinch, black pepper powder 24 fresh basil leaves  

Method:

1. Mix cheese and pepper until blended. Cover and refrigerate for about 30 minutes or until firm enough to shape into balls. 2. Shape 1 ½ tsp cheese mixture into a ball. Roll slightly to form an oval, about 1 inch long. Place this on the wide edge of the basil leaf and roll it. 3. Repeat with the remaining cheese mixture and basil leaves. 4. Serve immediately or cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until serving. Do not refrigerate for more than 2 hours.
