Veg Noodles with Gravy

Ingredients

1 cup noodles (boiled) ½ tsp garlic (chopped) 1 onion (sliced) 1 ½ cup vegetables (boiled) (French beans, carrot, cauliflower, broccoli and baby corns) 1 green chilli (finely chopped) 2 tbsp oil Salt, to taste For sauce: ½ cup vinegar 1/3 cup sugar ½ cup water 2 tbsp corn flour 1 tbsp soy sauce 4 tbsp tomato sauce 2 tbsp oil ¼ tsp black pepper powder Salt, to taste  

Method:

1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Add garlic, green chilli and sauté for a minute. 2. Add noodles and salt and cook for 3-4 minutes. Keep aside. 3. Heat 1 tbsp oil in another pan. Add onions and cook until it becomes transparent. 4. Add all the vegetables and let it cook for 4-5 minutes. Add salt and mix well. 5. To make sauce, heat half the water and add sugar. When the sugar dissolves, add soy sauce, tomato sauce and vinegar. 6. Mix remaining water and cornflour into a paste. Add this to the prepared sauce and let it cook until the sauce thickens. 7. Arrange the stir fry vegetables on a side of the serving dish. Arrange noodles on the other side. 8. Pour the sauce over the noodles and serve hot.
