Mini Veg Sambousik

Ingredients

For dough: ¼ cup cornflour ¾ cup maida ½ tsp salt ½ tsp sugar 1 tbsp oil ½ cup water For filling: ½ cup cottage cheese (grated) ¼ cup fresh coriander leaves (chopped) 11/4 tsp red chilli powder ¼ tsp salt 2 tbsp onion (chopped)  

Method:

1. Mix all ingredients of the dough. Add water to make firm dough. Cover and keep aside for 1 hour. 2. For the filling, mix all the ingredients of the filling and keep aside. 3. Divide dough into small lemon sized balls. Roll out to form small chapattis. 4. Put the filling on one side of the circle. Fold the other side to form a semicircle. 5. Press edges so that they stick together. Use a little water to stick. 6. Deep fry in hot oil till golden brown on both sides. 7. Serve hot.
