Vegetable Soup
Ingredients1 cup onion (cubed) 1/2 tbsp butter 2 tbsp flour 1/2 cup cauliflower florets 1/2 cup carrot 1/4 cup beetroot 1 cup cabbage 1/2 cup green peas 1 cup milk Salt, Black pepper, to taste Grated Cheese (optional) Method:1. Fry onions in ghee till brown at edges. Add flour, fry till brown. 2. Add rest of vegetables, cook in water till tender, but not overdone. 3. Blend all the vegetables well in a blender. 4. Mix the ground vegetables with stock, add milk and water to get a desired consistency. Bring to a boil. Add salt and pepper to taste. 5. Serve sprinkled with cheese if desired. |
