Talumein Soup
Ingredients6 cups vegetable stock 1 tbsp ginger and garlic (finely chopped) 7-8 green beans (slit diagonally) 1 green chili (slit diagonally) 1 carrot (sliced) 1/2 green capsicum (thinly sliced) 1 medium onion (sliced) 1 cup noodles (boiled) 1 tsp soy sauce Salt, to taste 1 vegetable stock cube (optional) 1 tbsp cornflour 1 tsp oilMethod:1. Heat oil in a pan. Add the ginger-garlic. 2. Add the onions, carrots and beans. Stir fry for a few minutes. 3. Add the chili and stock. Bring to a boil. 4. Now add the capsicum, soy sauce and salt. 5. After 5 minutes add the boiled noodles. Cook for 2-3 minutes. 6. Mix a little cornflour with cold water and add it to the soup. Cook for 2-3 minutes until it thickens. 7. Serve hot. |
